First and foremost, I’d like to thank my lovely wife Erika, for putting up with me working on this app on way too many nights and weekends, clacking away beside her on the couch as I half-watched Netflix shows, and supporting me in whatever way necessary, both in this side project and in whatever way I’ve ever needed during my career. I love you.
I’d also like to thank my mom, Alice, for being my beta tester; my brother, Micah, for always supporting me in my wild side project ideas; my wife’s parents, Thom and Jane, for helping to watch our son on any number of occasions while I was, again, clacking away at this thing; and all the lovely people I work with at Flywheel who showed interest in this project while it was in development. And for that matter, Flywheel itself, for taking a chance on me and giving me a place where I could learn and grow, long before I had any rightly idea what I was doing (if I even do now).
There are too many people to name when it comes to my career, but thanks to the many, many, amazing designers, developers and people in tech who helped me grow, welcomed me, and gave me the resources I needed to keep learning and progressing.
Thanks to my coworkers from my time in the restaurant biz ages ago, especially Cathy, for introducing me to this game in the first place and playing way too many games of it with me while we were on the clock.
Finally, I must admit that this never would’ve happened without the aid of dozens (if not hundreds, if not thousands) of people who poured their own time into a project related to this one—whether that was one of the open-source libraries this app was built with (there are many), a blog post explaining a key piece of tech or concept (there were also many of those), or a helpful StackOverflow answer to a tricky problem (there were those most of all). (Some of these folks and projects are mentioned more specifically in the Miscellaneous section on the FAQ page.)
Bonus, after-the-credits thanks to anyone and everyone who’s played this game, donated, purchased, left a review, helped me debug, shared on social media, or just or just opened this app and had some kind of fun with it (especially if you sent me a message or posted a screenshot). It means more to me than I can say.
